Mckevin is a geological engineer from UNMSM with master's studies in hydrology and water resources management at the University of Alcalá (UAH) & the Rey Juan Carlos University (URJC) in Spain. He has courses and international diplomas in groundwater hydrology, mining hydrogeology, environmental hydrogeochemistry, applied isotope hydrology in mining, hydrogeological numerical modeling, and integrated groundwater management. His professional experience covers the execution and evaluation of hydrological and hydrogeological studies, and the characterization of coastal, high Andean and transboundary aquifers, developed with an IWRM approach. In addition, he has experience in the review of hydrogeological technical documents presented as part of an Environmental Management Instrument (IGA), as well as the preparation of technical regulations on the Evaluation and Management of Groundwater Resources during his time at the National Authority of Peru Water.
