It is an underground mine from which iron is extracted. The project is located in the district of Bella Unión, province of Caravelí, in the Peruvian region of Arequipa.

Anddes contributes to the success of the Pampa de Pongo project, through:

• Updating the physical stability of the pit Zone 2 to obtain the permission to start operations.
• Conduct of field geotechnical research, laboratory testing and permissible load capacity analysis according to the design or preliminary arrangements of the benefit plant.
• Conducting field geotechnical research, laboratory testing and capacity analysis.
