The Toromocho project is located at 4,500 m.s.n.m. east of Lima, mining district of Morococha, Prov. de Yauli, Junín. It will be an open pit mine with a concentrator plant that will process 117,200 tons of ore per day and produce, during the 36 years of operation, an average of 1838 tonnes per day of copper concentrate and 25.7 tonnes per day of molybdenum oxide.
Anddes contributes to the success of the Toromocho project, through:
- Program of metallurgical tests and column testing in minerals.
- Study of two leaching piles tradeoff.
- Location of leaching batteries, ponds, plant and crusher, pumping system, mineral transport system.
- Quality Control (CQC), Quality Assurance (CQA) for the re-growth of Stage 4 of the Tailings Dam to be carried out in sub-caps A and B. This re-growth involves raising 22 m on the crest of Stage 3 to a final elevation of 4680 m above sea level.
