The La Arena gold mine is located in northern Peru, 480 km north-northwest of Lima. The mine consists of two types of mineral deposits: high sulfuration epithermal auriferous mineralization embedded in oxidized gap sandstone within the Chimu Formation, and copper sulphide and gold mineralization housed in multiple intrusion fased porphyry.

Anddes contributes to the success of the La Arena project, through:

  • Geomechanical analysis of slope stability, pit slope design.
  • Determination of sediment quantity and cumulative impact with extensions and modifications of mining infrastructure, The Sand Project Phase 2.
  • Detail Engineering of Phase 4 of the Au Oxide Leaching Pad with High Cu.
  • Basic Engineering of Phase 5 of the Leaching Pad.
  • Basic engineering (for permits) of the sulphide dump in an area adjacent to Phase 4A.
  • Detail engineering of Phases 3B and 4 of the Dump 2.
  • Basic engineering of Phases 8 and 9 and the East Dump and general arrangement of water management.
  • Evaluation of the dynamic 3D stability of the leaching pad for the exposure time it will have during operation.
  • Detailed Engineering of the Leaching Pad Phase 5.
  • Detailed Engineering of the Leaching Pad Phase 4A3.
  • Periodic visits to the mine and review of information on geotechnical instrumentation and support in the sincerity of foundations and evaluation of slope stabilities in the stacking of the dump 2.
