Luis is a registered civil engineer, graduated from the Universidad Nacional de Ingeniería, and has a master's degree in geotechnical engineering from the same institution. He has more than 13 years of experience in the development of geotechnical projects and closure plans in Peru and Mexico, mainly in mining components such as tailings deposits, leach pads, mine waste dumps and complementary mining facilities. In addition, he has participated in the supervision of slope stabilization works and road construction as a resident engineer, as well as in the preparation of technical files for construction. Currently, he is part of a technical group dedicated to the safety review of dams and is a record engineer in various mining projects, following international mining standards.
