Denys is a civil engineer graduated from the National University of Engineering (UNI) in Lima, Peru with a specialization in Japan and a Master's in Geotechnical Engineering in Brazil. With more than 30 years of experience, he has worked on a large number of mining projects in Peru, Argentina, Chile, Brazil, Colombia, Mexico and Bolivia. He has been involved in the design of heap leach projects and mine waste and tailings disposal facilities. His experience includes the development of geotechnical investigations and studies for all types of civil facilities and execution of civil design and geotechnical analysis of mining facilities, such as leach pads, process ponds, waste rock dumps, tailings dams, retention dams Water. Denys is currently a professor at the UNI of the Soil Dynamics course.
