Waldo Huallanca is a civil engineer with a master's degree in geotechnical engineering. He has 13 years of experience in geotechnical design of civil and mining works, he has programmed and developed geotechnical investigations for the design of mining structures such as: water retention dams, process plants, crushers, accesses, tailings deposits, waste rock, leaching pad, dumps, his experience also includes the execution of field and laboratory tests. Likewise, he has led and participated in geotechnical studies, slope stability analysis, infiltration analysis, liquefaction potential, numerical modeling, and geosynthetics design. He also has experience in safety reviews of water dams and tailings under the Canadian Dam Association (CDA) Dam Safety Guidelines.
