From March 5 to 8, 2017, the latest edition of PDAC was held, a mining convention held annually in the city of Toronto, Canada. On this occasion, Anddes was part of the Peruvian delegation and sponsored Peru Day. The Peruvian delegation is made up of leaders from the mining sector, senior representatives of the Peruvian government and main promoters of the country’s economy. The platforms carried out in Toronto offered the Peruvian delegates the opportunity to network with entrepreneurs from 103 countries, mining investors and the highest global executives of mining companies. In this edition, Peru was the only mining country in the region with a new government, thus guaranteeing interest in the great proposals and opportunities in our country. PDAC promotes a responsible, vibrant and sustainable Canadian mining exploration and development sector; It also promotes good practices in technical, environmental, safety and social management performance in Canada and internationally.
