Anddes’ research area, in coordination with the environmental, engineering and construction areas, is promoting and developing scientific research, technological development and technological innovation (R + D + i) projects under Law No. 30309 and that have the qualification and authorization of the National Council of Science, Technology and Technological Innovation (CONCYTEC), the governing body that encourages education and research institutions and private companies to carry out R + D + i activities. Since its inception, the Anddes research area has been developing R + D + i projects, with its own resources as part of the company’s corporate policy. After a period of reaching experience and maturity in relation to research projects, in this year 2018 Anddes already has the registration with CONCYTEC, having presented the first research project before this entity, which was approved and whose title is ” Selection of Subduction Seismic Attenuation Laws for the Evaluation of Seismic Hazard in Peru ”and which is in full development. To date, the research area is working on various R + D + i projects. One of them is a scientific research project on the height of topsoil in the closure coverage of mining waste deposits, which is led by the environmental area. Likewise, Anddes is looking for opportunities for R + D + i projects in entities that promote and support research in private companies, such as the National Training Service for the Construction Industry (SENCICO) and the Ministry of the Production (PRODUCE). Anddes considers investment in this type of R & D & i projects fundamental for the development of its activities, since through them various technological advances and innovations are generated, which also allow the company to continuously improve its quality standards and added value in the services they provide to their clients. One of the missions of CONCYTEC and other organizations is to promote Peruvian companies such as Anddes to invest in the generation of scientific and technological knowledge, through research in the areas of engineering, technology, sciences and humanities; knowledge that can be incorporated into the services that the company offers. Furthermore, based on the experience of developed countries, it can be concluded that investment in these areas has a direct relationship with the development that our country will have in the future.
