Anddes Argentina presents the design of the leaching pad to extract minerals in the lindero project
On July 16 in Salta, Argentina, the Anddes Argentina team was in charge of a technical meeting to present the design of the Leaching Pad or process zone engineered to extract gold and silver from the mineral in the Lindero project. The activity took place in one of the COPAIPA rooms with the presence of the Secretary of Mining, Daniel Blasco, professionals from the Salta Ministry of Mining and the Professional Council of Engineers and Related Professions. The Mansfield company in charge of the project organized the presentation in order to inform the enforcement authorities of the details of the design, calculation and quality control of each stage of the process to be carried out on the Leaching Bed. The Leaching Pad is an area specially conditioned to receive the mineral to be leached using a solution that allows the minerals of interest to be extracted from the waste rock. About the Lindero Project: It is the first modern metalliferous undertaking in the Province. The mineral will be treated in a plant that will process 18,750 tons of mineral per day, to produce 0.83 thousand ounces, with an annual average of 161,000 and a production cost of $ 373 per ounce.
