From October 3 to 5, the Second International Conference on Technology and Application of Geosynthetics-Geosynthetics 2018 will be held in Santiago (Chile) where Denys Parra (General Manager of Anddes Peru), Andrés León ( General Manager of Anddes Chile) and Romy Valdivia (Project Manager of Anddes Peru). Likewise, Andrés León will participate on Friday, October 5 at 11:10 am in session 5 “Mining, road, maritime, coastal and canal works” where he will present about the relevant aspects in design and construction with geosynthetics in heap leaching . In addition, he will be the moderator in session 6 “Plenary Conferences” that will take place that same day at 02:00 p.m. This important conference that, through an international forum, allows to discuss the most recent and relevant advances and developments in the areas of application of geosynthetics and the most recent research and innovations in the industry. It should be noted that the previous version, in 2017, brought together more than 160 professionals from 18 countries.
