World Day for Safety and Health at Work: Anddes' commitment to safety in all its operations

Author: Anddes

At Anddes, we renew our commitment to safety as an essential value that guides our decisions and actions in all the countries where we operate.

From Peru, Argentina, and Mexico, we work with a comprehensive and preventive approach that prioritizes the well-being of all our collaborators. For Anddes, safety is not just a priority: it is a pillar that defines who we are and how we work.

Safety that unites us: a commitment from leadership and in every action

Our commitment begins from the highest levels of leadership.
At Anddes Peru, we start each day in the field and each meeting in the offices with a “safety moment,” a practice that reinforces our preventive approach and promotes a culture of constant care. As Enrique Gonzáles, Safety, Health, and Environment Manager in Peru, points out: «We have implemented a comprehensive system that transcends regulatory compliance. Prevention is key to protecting our team.»

At Anddes Argentina, we understand that safety and health at work are not just individual responsibilities, but pillars of our organizational culture. Carlos Acuña, Head of Safety, Health, and Environment in that country, highlights «we renew our commitment to responsible, preventive, and participatory management. Safety is an essential pillar that guides every decision, every project, and every person within our organization.»

In Mexico, we also work to promote a culture of safety in each of our activities. Romy Valdivia, General Manager of Anddes Mexico, comments: “From Anddes Mexico we promote a preventive vision. Every measure counts when it comes to taking care of the people who are part of our team.

Preventive culture: we are all part of the change

Our safety ambassadors play a key role in consolidating an organizational culture based on prevention, example and open communication.

From Peru, Danitza Reyes, ambassador of the value “Safety in what we do” tells us that: “Safety is built by listening. Listening to those who detect a risk, those who propose an improvement, and acting with responsibility. A solid culture is born from respect, dialogue and timely action.”

In Argentina, Marcos Gatica, Supervisor of the Dipolo team and ambassador of the value “Safety in what we do”, highlights: “Promoting trust to talk about safety has transformed the way we work. Listening and being heard allows us to take better care of each other.”

Zero accidents: a shared goal

At Anddes, we are convinced that every accident can be prevented. Therefore, our operations in Peru, Argentina and Mexico work aligned towards the same objective: to strengthen the safety culture and achieve the goal of zero accidents.
This April 28, we reaffirm our commitment to protect what is most valuable to us: our people. Because at Anddes, safety is everyone’s responsibility, and taking care of each other is part of our essence.
