Proposal Engineer
Functions
- Review tender documents, bid packages, and terms of reference for proposal submissions.
- Manage client-specific platforms (Aconex, Minexus, etc.).
- Maintain proposal schedules and ensure compliance with deadlines for clarifications and proposal submissions. Define and manage the proposal development schedule.
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals in collaboration with technical teams.
- Review technical and commercial proposals, including all required annexes and supporting documentation, ensuring compliance with client-requested formats and submission methods.
- Communicate and distribute received information, schedule changes, client responses, and other relevant updates.
- Analyze proposal metrics, including opportunities received, proposals submitted, and contracts awarded.
- Conduct quality evaluations and analyze proposal outcomes.
- Perform cost, rate, and profitability analyses.
- Review and continuously improve proposal documents and processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of previous experience in similar positions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Senior Electrical Engineer
Functions
- Lead the team of electrical engineers and designers assigned to the project, coordinating with project managers, project controls, document control, and other disciplines to ensure compliance with project objectives, schedules, and scope.
- Coordinate and participate in client meetings, as well as prepare technical presentations.
- Prepare Requests for Information (RFIs) and review client-provided documentation for project development.
- Develop, supervise, and perform senior reviews of electrical discipline designs, calculations, drawings, 3D models, technical documents, and other deliverables, ensuring quality and multidisciplinary integration.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for the evaluation of equipment and engineering solutions.
- Conduct interdisciplinary reviews of project deliverables.
- Participate in the preparation and review of general project documents and workshops.
- Present and defend engineering designs, calculations, and solutions to clients or external entities when required.
- Prepare and review technical-commercial proposals for the electrical discipline and lead multidisciplinary proposals.
- Identify opportunities for new services or business lines related to the electrical engineering specialty.
- Conduct site visits in support of projects and proposals.
- Perform other related duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, with active professional registration/licensure.
- More than 12 years of professional experience in electrical engineering.
- Proven experience in developing engineering deliverables for mining and industrial projects.
- Experience working for engineering consulting firms such as Cumbra, GMI, Ausenco, WSP, BISA, AtkinsRéalis (Lavalin), Worley, or similar organizations.
- Experience leading teams of electrical engineers and designers.
- Experience in the development of engineering technical-commercial proposals.
- Knowledge and experience in power line design and proficiency with PLS-CADD.
- Experience performing electrical studies using ETAP and DIgSILENT PowerFactory.
- Advanced knowledge of national and international electrical engineering standards and codes.
- Project Management knowledge under PMBOK methodology is desirable.
- Specialization, diploma, or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Project Management, or related fields is desirable.
- Knowledge of BIM methodology is desirable.
- Advanced English proficiency is desirable.
Junior Geotechnical Engineer
- Final-year student or recent graduate in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in similar roles (preferred).
- Demonstrated knowledge of geotechnical engineering principles.
- Basic proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Experience in the mining and oil & gas sectors is a plus.
- Experience with specialized geotechnical software will be highly valued.
Hydraulic Engineer
- Conduct technical research and investigations related to hydraulic engineering.
- Perform hydraulic design for mining and infrastructure projects.
- Develop sketches, figures, and preliminary layouts for engineering studies.
- Prepare watershed and catchment area maps for engineering drawings.
- Determine design flows for hydraulic structures.
- Prepare quantity take-offs for earthworks, concrete, steel, and other materials.
- Prepare technical engineering reports.
- Prepare hydraulic and civil engineering drawings.
- Perform first-stage reviews of hydraulic drawings.
- Develop water balance models.
- Perform sediment transport and sedimentation analyses.
- Conduct dam breach analyses.
- Plan, assign, and monitor tasks for assigned personnel.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related disciplines.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in similar roles.
