In line with its commitment to sharing knowledge with the local community, Anddes Argentina took part in a school activity organized by Colegio San José de los Hermanos Maristas as part of the project “Panel of professionals: a first-hand introduction to different professions.”
The presentation was delivered by Anddes Argentina’s General Manager, Eng. Marcos Díaz Corvalán, and the Hydraulic Discipline Coordinator, Eng. Guillermo Arreghini, who shared their professional experience and answered students’ questions, bringing them closer to the reality of engineering and its many career opportunities.
In addition, Eng. Marcos Díaz Corvalán, together with Eng. Eduardo Álvarez, Senior Operations Reviewer, gave the lecture “Civil engineering in mining projects” within the course Introduction to Engineering at the National University of Cuyo. The purpose of this meeting was to provide an introduction to mining activity and to highlight the role that civil engineers can play in this sector, helping to spark interest and broaden the perspective of future professionals.
Through these initiatives, Anddes Argentina reinforces its commitment to education and professional development in the communities where it operates, bringing the world of work closer to new generations.
