Omar is a Civil Engineer from the National University of Engineering (UNI), where he also earned a Graduate Diploma in Project Management.
He has more than eight years of experience as a civil design engineer, specializing in civil and mining infrastructure design.
His expertise includes the design of key components such as tailings dams, heap leach pads, process ponds, and associated infrastructure, including platforms, access roads, surface drainage, and collection systems.
He has also been involved in the preparation of engineering reports, technical specifications, cost estimates, and engineering drawings, and brings experience in QA/QC for heap leach projects in Peru.
