Misael is a Mining Engineer graduated from the Santiago Antúnez de Mayolo National University, with 25 years of professional experience in the mining industry. He holds a Diploma in Project Management and has completed specialized studies in the management of projects under Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) and Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management (EPCM) delivery models. Throughout his career, he has been involved in the development and leadership of projects of varying complexity.
He has served as Construction Supervision Manager and CQA Manager on a variety of mining and civil infrastructure projects. His professional experience includes the construction and quality assurance of tailings dams, containment dikes, heap leach pads, process ponds, sanitary landfills, waste rock dumps, roads, canals, geotechnical instrumentation installations, concrete works, and geomembrane lining systems, with more than 15.0 million square meters of geomembrane installations implemented.
He has worked at several mining operations in Peru, including Las Bambas, Lagunas Norte, Pierina, Cuajone, Tukari, Arasi, Tantahuatay, Corihuarmi, Pampa de Cobre, Huaron, Raura, Pucamarca, and Shahuindo. Internationally, he has participated in projects at La Colorada Mine in Mexico and Veladero, Pascua-Lama, and Lindero mines in Argentina.
