Juan Pesantes
Senior Mechanical Engineer
Juan is a Mechanical Engineer from the National University of Engineering (UNI) with more than 14 years of experience in mechanical and piping projects for mining and industry.
He specializes in propulsion system design, barren and PLS handling, hydraulic calculations for transport lines, and pump and auxiliary equipment selection.
He has extensive experience in heap leach pads, dams, ponds, and processing plants across Peru, Argentina, Chile, and Mexico.
He currently serves as a Mechanical Project Engineer at Anddes, leading the design and verification of pumping systems and mechanical infrastructure for mining projects.
