Senior Geotechnical Engineer
He is a Civil Engineer graduated from the National University of Engineering, with postgraduate studies in Geotechnical Engineering and specialization in Project Management. He brings over 14 years of experience in geotechnical engineering applied to civil and mining projects across Peru, Mexico, and Bolivia.
He specializes in geotechnical investigations and the design of tailings dams, heap leach facilities, waste rock dumps, and earth dams. He has worked closely with Engineers of Record (EoR) and Dam Safety Reviewers (DSR), ensuring the safe performance of mining structures in accordance with CDA, MAC, and ICMM standards.
His technical expertise includes stability analysis, seismic response assessment, liquefaction evaluation, and numerical modeling using FLAC and PLAXIS. He currently serves as Senior Geotechnical Engineer, leading technical teams in the design, review, and optimization of geotechnical projects.
