Humberto Alvarado

Humberto is a Civil Engineer with over 16 years of professional experience in mining and civil infrastructure projects.

He has served as Construction Supervisor, Resident Engineer, and Quality Control Resident, as well as Design Engineer and Head of Engineering for tailings dams and heap leach facilities. He has also held the role of Senior Project Engineer on the Constancia EPCM project.

His experience includes large-scale earthworks, geosynthetics installation, gabion walls, reinforced embankments, drainage systems, HDPE collection pipelines, process pond construction, sanitary landfills, acid water treatment systems, canals, concrete structures, steel structures, pumping systems, roadway studies, and real estate and industrial infrastructure projects.

In addition to his corporate roles, Humberto works as a private consultant, developing and reviewing technical design documentation for mining projects, particularly those involving major earthworks. He has also contributed to the development of general arrangements for mining facilities and the evaluation of design alternatives for these projects.
