Carlos is a Civil Engineer from the National University of Engineering (UNI), with doctoral studies in Water Resources.
He has more than 35 years of experience executing and supervising hydrological and hydraulic studies for civil and mining projects, from conceptual design through detailed and closure engineering.
His experience includes serving as a reviewing engineer in hydrology, hydraulics, hydrogeology, and water resources for baseline studies, environmental impact assessments, and mine closure plans.
He has participated in dam safety reviews, water balance studies, erosion control, hydraulic and hydrological modeling, drainage and diversion systems, tailings transport, dam design, and surface water management best practices.
Carlos is an Assistant Professor of Hydraulic Resources at the National University of Engineering (UNI).
