Lia Peña

Lia is a Geological Engineer graduated from the National University of Engineering (UNI), Faculty of Geological, Mining, and Metallurgical Engineering, and holds a Master’s degree in Geology with a specialization in Geotechnics from the National University of San Marcos (UNMSM) in Lima, Peru. She has 16 years of experience conducting direct geotechnical investigations, geological and geomechanical interpretation and characterization, and stability analyses for a wide range of mining projects. Her expertise also includes structural analysis and physical stability assessments for open-pit mine optimization and road infrastructure projects. Lia has strong leadership experience, with proven skills in organizing and managing multidisciplinary teams.
