Carlos Soto

Carlos is a Civil Engineer from the National University of Engineering (UNI), holding a Master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and a diploma in Project Management.

He served as Laboratory Head at Vector Perú S.A.C., providing support for specialized testing, including large-scale direct shear tests (LSDS) and triaxial testing on 6-inch specimens.

He also has experience in dynamic testing using cyclic triaxial equipment, developed as part of his thesis research at the CISMID-UNI geotechnical laboratory, where he conducted research testing for four years.

He currently serves as Laboratory Head, supporting geotechnical testing for the company’s projects as well as for external clients.
